“I’ve just discovered in the past few days that I really like working in pastel—and here Liz has been trying to get me to try it for so long. I think it’s really good for me because I can literally draw with color, in a way I haven’t figured out how to do with a brush. And there aren’t any muted tones, like the ones I tend to mix. I have to be bolder.”
