Susan loved printmaking, but did not often have access to the equipment and studio space it requires. Thus, most of the work shown here is early, some of it from her years at Swain School of Design in New Bedford, MA. Swain has since been absorbed into the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth. When her son Joe gave me her art books, after spending some years with them himself, I donated them to UMASS/Dartmouth library in her name. The prints shown here include lithographs, etchings and woodcuts.
